Remember the Suffragettes? Well, the term “suffragette” according to google search, it was first used in 1906 as a term of derision by the journalist Charles E. Hands in the London Daily Mail to describe activists in the movement for women’s suffrage, in particular members of the WSPU.
The Suffragettes during the 1920s wanted the rights for women to vote, among other forms of feminist waves (1st,2nd, 3rd…) Fast forward to 21st America, We the Women are asking for Equal Rights against all forms of discrimination; sex, race, education, religion, etc.
